Miguel Panzardi/Mighty Mike
Hometown: Williamsburg, Brooklyn
[email protected]
Mighty Mike was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Southside of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, NY. As a teenager, growing up, Mike witnessed the beginnings of Hip Hop dance, from watching a few young kids dancing on cardboard outside of his family’s apartment building. From that point on he and became inspired and began developing with others in his community.
The person who motivated Mike from the start was Choco, Mikes dear friend and neighbor who would train day and night in Breaking and Rocking.
The first time Mighty Mike saw routines in Rocking was when he saw Ringo and Spin during a video shoot in Williamsburg. From then they became good friends and Mike became more interested in learning Rocking. He asked Ringo to show off some Rocking moves and in exchange he would show Ringo Breaking moves. Mike took Ringo to Coney Island where they met Choco and the two introduced Ringo to Joey, aka Mr. Speed, from the Furious Rockers. The Furious Rockers was one of Mike’s first Break Dance crews that he was a part of.
Mighty Mike continued learning Rocking throughout his Breaking career. He was a member of crews, Furious Rockers, Scramblin’ Feet, Full Circle, New York City Breakers (2nd Generation), Just Begun Crew, and toured extensively as one of Kurtis Blow’s break dancers.
Mike continued to dance and compete as a b-boy and eventually had a chance to go to the worldwide break dance competition, Pro Am in Florida. At the competition, Speedy Legs and Zulu Grims held a Rock Dance battle and Mike decided to enter. This was in fact, Mikes first Rock Dance Battle!
Upon returning home from the competition, Mike got a call from friend, Break Easy, an established educator to many upcoming Breakers and Rockers, to work on an instructional dance video project. The two spent a lot of time together and in 2007 Mike brought up his want to create his own Rock crew. Break Easy encouraged Mike to do this so Mike started his research on Rock groups in Brooklyn. Then, Mike revisited Mastermind Rockers, and interviewed members, Choco Rubber Band, Popeye, and Dash.
Serendipitously, Mike ran into Ringo, in Manhattan on 56 St. and 5th Ave. Mike asked Ringo to go online to YouTube and check out the world of Rock Dance, today (at that time). Mike interviewed Ringo at Maccarren Park on the Rock Dance culture as he knew it in Brooklyn. The two of them became re-founded friends and soon crewmates, co-instructors, and developers of this new generation of Mastermind Rockers. Ringo shared the past culture of Rock Dance with Mike, and Mike shared with Ringo some of the clubs in the City. The two battled Rock, trained, represented, and developed. And in 2009 Mastermind Rockers became established under his navigation.

Razvan Robert Gorea/Tiny Love
Hometown:Romainia/New York City
https://www.facebook.com/razvan.gorea?fref=ts
In the 1990's as Romania's people struggled through revolution under a strict, communist regime, a gentleman by the name of Razvan Gorea left his home country in hope of seeking a better life in the United States, specifically New York City. Struggling to adapt to the American urban lifestyle this young man sought, found and conquered refuge within America's prospering electronic music rave scene. Frequenting nightclubs such as Limelight, Twilo & Roxy with gentlemen of a similar Romanian background, Mr. Gorea soon earned his dance alias through uninspiring means when a mutual city dweller referred to him as Mr. Tiny based on his small stature. Pushing through initial resentment, Tiny soon accepted his nickname but not before adding his own unique twist with the word Love. Low and behold, "Tiny Love" was born and began his crusade through electronic music dance culture's history; witnessing firsthand the creation, development and evolution of glow sticking, mag lights, liquid, digits and a plethora of other historical street dances in New York City.
Helping create the Liquid Lights Crew, America's first Glow sticking Crew, Tiny Love helped channel Liquid, Glow sticking and other rave-related stomping to the masses of New England's rave scene. Found dancing at spots such as Sputnik, Limelight, Ashbury Park and others to the sounds of Bones, Van Dyke and Scott Henry, Tiny Love broad casted a characteristic, natural blend of non-stop, experimental, multiple-style infused movement.
Having earned spots in crews such as Vibe Elements, Dynasty Rockers, Touch of Rock, Little Dave Rockers, Master Mind, New Era, and Dark Matter Squad, Tiny Love performs effortlessly as a mutant like alien in Popping, Waving, Tutting, Rocking, Robot and the style he helped create (and still dominate) Finger Tutting.

Guillaume Fernandez/El Poeto/Swiss Roc
Hometown: Geneva, Switzerland
[email protected]/www.facebook.com/ElPoeto
Guillaume heard about bboying for the very first time when he was about 10, by his cousin. Immediately he wanted to do it, even though he didn't have a clear idea of what it really was. He started to beg his mom to find a place to dance. But in his early years, the teachers available to him weren't good and didn't teach the Hip Hop Culture. It's in 2009, after a dance camp organized by the association JAIA that El Poeto became interested in every part of the Hip Hop culture. From then on out, he sought more knowledge. Since this time he had only one idea, Going to New York to live Hip Hop in its purest form. In 2014, his dream came true! He started dancing with The Bronx Boys Rocking Crew ( which he's now a prospect, and will become an official member in May 2014). Slex, of TBB, introduced El Poeto to Ringo at Friday's practice. El Poeto, immediately fell in love with rocking, and soon became Swiss Roc, name given by MMR. He'd already seen rocking in some videos and with Chief 69, but soon rocking became one of his dreams. Mighty Mike, Ringo, all the Master Mind Rockers and TBB are helping Swiss Roc to improve in this dance form. During three years El Poeto competed in all the battles he could. He won the 2 on 2 "préambule battle", finished in the top 8 of the Swiss championship "au delà des préjugés," went to the final of the first "Let's Kill the Flow", and reached many semi finals in 1on1 battles or in all styles battles with Swiss crew, Penelope Crew. He has also participated in many shows for a graduate project or for different dance schools. He has appeared in rap clip videos and has instructed bboying classes to young people with difficulties.

Yann Szuter / NOYA
Hometown: Grenoble, France
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=585446403&fref=ts
Noya started breaking and writing 10 years later, entering secondary school. He immediately felt in Love with Hip hop when he met Ahmed Chaia, a school supervisor at that time who was into it. From back then, he would never stop studying this Culture in all its forms. At this time, the only way to learn was by trying to imitate the elders; what he did. There was breaking, there was graffiti, there was listening to rap music... Only years later did he realize the importance Dancing was taking in his life, growing up through the movement as a Dancer and as a human being. That's when he decided to make moves from his little city as often as possible, to meet as many dancers as he could. In France first, then Europe. In 2009, he went to live in Spain for a year and became part of the Proemios Crew, learning a lot among them. Then he finally made it to New York for the first time in 2012, with the will to understand and feel Hip hop in its most authentic form. Noya saw Rocking for the very first time in 2006 in Grenoble, during an event called Total Session. Only way later did he get the chance to approach it again, when he met Wary by the end of 2012. Soon after that he decided to really get into it, and came back to New York to interview and learn from pioneers of that Dance. That's when he met Mike and Ringo, with whom he quickly got along well. From that day, he never stopped crossing the pond as often as possible to keep on learning from his teachers, soon to be crew mates. Besides Dancing, Noya is a naive but autonomous young man, who still believes he can be a reality changer; a self-taught and creative person, who lives to take up challenges and tries hard to think outside of the box every day. Curiosity, anti-conformism and a strong sense of ethics help him wanna forge ahead. Peace, love, unity and having fun!
